Wednesday, March 7th: Opening Night Kick Off Event in Telfair Square. The Jepson Center For The Arts. 7:00pm
South Magazine, The Telfair Museums and Savannah Stopover have teamed up to kick off the festival in style! Art and Music collide for one fantastic evening with a Band Poster Reception at The Jepson Center featuring over 40 posters by local artists and students. Winners will be announced. Prizes will be awarded. Merriment will ensue. Plus, limited editions of this bad ass poster designed just for this event by Marcus Kenney wile be for sale!
Then, we’re taking it to the streets with a block party in front of the museum featuring Dinosaur Feathers, Pond and Glassnote Recording artist Oberhofer.
Things crank up late night at The Jinx as Montreal’s Each Other takes the stage at 10:30 followed by Brooklyn’s DIVE at 11:30pm to round out the evening. You don’t want to miss this new side project from Brooklyn’s Beach Fossils. Tickets for the whole evening are $15 or free with your 4 day Festival Pass or VIP Pass. More details here. Friday, March 9th: Go Glam With Grimes: The Jepson Center. 8:30pm
Arguably, one of the most buzzed about artists of the moment, Montreal’s Claire Boucher (aka Grimes) performs at The Jepson center with fellow countrymen and rocking good time dance wizards Born Gold. Lights, fashion, style, art, technology, music. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this one. p.s. dress glam. wear gold. A Festival Pass, VIP Pass or 3/9 Day Pass gets you in. ALL AGES.
Friday March 9th: Neon Gold Records Dance Party. LiveWire Music Hall. 10pm.
Neon Gold Records is one of the coolest not so little labels around, renowned for their knack with 7″ vinyls. ( They pretty much discovered Passion Pit!). They are cruising into town with the labels red hot up and comers: St. Lucia (originally from South Africa), Savoir Adore and The Knocks- a duo that comprises the hottest music producers on the planet. If you’ve got a hot song, The Knocks are gonna remix it! A VIP, 4 Day Festival or 3/9 Day Pass gets you in. $10 at the door, space permitting. 21+

Saturday, March 10th: Mazarine Records Showcase. Ships Of The Sea Museum Garden. 12pm-5pm.What’s better than spending a day in a beautiful garden with a ton of talented musicians? Savannah’s own Dare Dukes has recently signed to Athens, Ga based record label Mazarine and is pretty much bringing the whole damn label to Savannah for an all day fun in the sun showcase. We’ll have fresh made crepes for $3-5 plus cold PBR’s and wine for sale. Bring your valid state issued ID! VIP, 4 Day Festival and 3/10 day passes get you in…or $5 at the door. ALL AGES.
Saturday, March 10th: Kanine Records Showcase. Live Wire Music Hall. 10pm
Featuring: Royal Baths, Zambri and Eternal Summers
Kanine Records is an independent record label based in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York started at the end of 2002 by Lio and Kay Kanine. Their first release, NY: The Next Wave, was a 20 track compilation featuring mostly unsigned and emerging acts from the area. From there, they started to sign local bands and release CD EPs, 12 inch vinyls and eventually full length records. Ten years later, the label currently handles over 26 bands and continues to grow due to the continued success of artists like Grizzly Bear, Chairlift and Surfer Blood. March 8th-10th: VIP After Parties. The Stopover Artists Lounge @ The Sparetime. 1:00am-4:00am. It’s
Savannah’s 1st late night pop-up lounge. Retro in feel. Modern in thought. Hang with the bands, press and staff and enjoy fabulous late night munchies from The Sparetime. Dance all night as Stopover bands become DJ’s and new friends and memories are made. We’ll have a vintage photo booth, an antique organ and more Harry Belafonte vinyl than you’ll know what to do with.

Sunday, March 11th: “It’s A Wrap! Party”. Private Home. 1pm-5pm.
