Clouds & Satellites emerged from the pods fully formed. World domination to ensue–or at least some really fun rock & roll shows. Comprised of the core songwriting duo of Marquez9000 (of Waits & Co., Prairie State Heartache) & Sweet T (formerly of Hush Money), and recently blessed with the addition of guitarist/dobro master Stu (of The Train Wrecks) and bass player/multi-instrumentalist Matt G, Clouds & Satellites offer up indie-rawk, dream-pop, and psych-blooze in equal measure. Some of the groups the band looks to as examples of how to do rock & roll right are Spoon, Wilco, Guided by Voices, Dinosaur, Jr., and centro-matic. They are currently in the mixing & mastering phase of a 6-song EP to be released in the next couple of months.
