In 2011, Britt Scott was sick of waiting to join in the musical boys’ club. After teaching herself guitar and playing at open mics across Savannah, she found the perfect collaborator in singer-songwriter Crystina Parker (General Oglethorpe & the Panhandlers). Pairing their drive and unyielding commitment to their music, they formed Lovely Locks to enrich each other’s original songs through harmony and percussion. Anna Chandler (General Oglethorpe & the Panhandlers) joined soon after, and Lovely Locks became three songwriters strong. Now supported by bassist Eric Dunn (The Trainwrecks) and drummer Tom Worley (Jasper and the Prodigal Suns), Lovely Locks promises intimate shows and a unique brand of folk-infused pop with an attitude problem.
