Seeing a band that’s happy to put on a show — a real, we’re-not-phoning-it-in show — is always refreshing, but add in pop writing that channels Ted Leo and Pavement, and it’s impossible to go wrong”-The Deli Magazine

These guys are probably the most fun band playing music in New York right now. They let everything go on stage, and that means buckets of sweat and undeniably catchy rock tunes-Pop Tarts Suck Toasted

…Shark? will restore your faith in garage rock bands.”-Standing Room

Remember garage bands? Well, here’s Shark? – they sound like a garage band, but they’re so good you won’t have to get drunk to have fun at their show. There aren’t any electronic beats or gimmicks to their music. This band has doesn’t need all that. Their simple setup allows them to showcase a pure and unfiltered talent for rocking out. And it is a huge talent for rocking out. Shark? clearly knows what they’re doing, and their songs are loose, energetic, and most importantly, fun. To prove the point, Shark? has just released their latest album, True Waste,in July of 2012. It’s filled with the kind of music that your neighbor’s garage band wishes they could sound like. Also, they like cookies for dinner and cheap booze, which definitely sounds like a good time.
