COEDS exploded onto the Savannah scene in February 2014 with Homecoming, an EP that fused the hooks that defined early rock n’ roll and doo-wop with power-pop sensibilities, vocals that coo, spit and wail, dirty, driving guitars and raucous rhythms. June's Summer Hits, Some Ain't cassette showed the band continuing to weave influences from Buddy Holly, X-Ray Spex, Ramones, and The Shangri-La’s, and 1960’s garage rockers into contagious anthems of UFO sightings, lovesick surfer girls, and nerdy victories. With a full spectrum of experiences playing indie-pop, metal, folk, and noise rock, COEDS’ scene veteran members deliver a performance that’s part school dance, part basement show, and wholly unforgettable.
