Danielle Hicks and the  Resistance

Danielle Hicks is a powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and band leader from South Georgia. With her band, The Resistance, this Southern siren belts her unique blend of blues, soul, Americana, and classic rock ‘n’ roll with a radiant charisma. After a decade of training and performing in New York, Hicks settled in the artistic coastal enclave of Savannah and in The Hostess City, Hicks met a collective of like-minded players. Inspired by the ohm, a unit of electrical resistance for measuring sound, the group was named The Resistance. Her debut album, Honey, produced by GRAMMY-winning legend Jim Scott (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Tedeschi Trucks Band), is available now.  Get ready to rock, dance, and be entranced by
