Savannah Stopover 2018 Digest Week 4

Believe it or not, we are now just 3 short weeks from the Savannah Stopover Music Festival! In this week’s digest, we have some exciting line-up additions, a rundown on Stopover venues, news from of Montreal, Caroline Rose and Twisty Cats,  ands lots more Stopover information that you need!

Line-up additions

We love leaving little surprises 'til the end! We have three wonderful additions to the Stopover line-up to tell you about:.

Nashvile’s Twen joins the line-up for our Closing Night Event at Ships of the Sea  They kick off the night at 6:30. Make sure to come out early before Gus Dapperton and of Montreal. Twen is one of our top 'bands to watch'! Their band bio website is coming soon but you can check out their music here.

Jonny Couch

Longtime drummer on the NY music scene, Jonny Couch, has come from behind the kit in his new self-named band to get behind the microphone. He’ll take the Stopover stage at Club One at 10pm on 3/10. More on the fabulous Jonny C here.

Danielle Hicks

We are excited to welcome local favorites Danielle Hicks and the Resistance to the 2018 Savannah Stopover festival! They’ll make their Stopover debut at 3pm on Saturday 3/10 at the Jinx!

Colin Caulfied’s spring tour was cancelled and he's not able to make it to Stopover this year. He's as bummed as we are. We hope to entice him back for 2019!

New of Montreal Video

Of Montreal’s new record White Is Relic/Irrealis Mood comes out on 3/9 - the day before their Savannah Stopover performance at Ships of the Sea. This week, they released the first official video from the album for the song entitled “Plateau Phase/No Careerism No Corruption” Take a look:

Caroline Rose on NPR First Listen

We’ve talked about Caroline Rose’s new record Loner in previous editions of this digest, and now, you can actually listen to the whole thing! Caroline snagged a coveted NPR Music “Fist Listen” slot a week ahead of the record’s release.  Go ahead and give it a spin.

Visit our Tickets page for more info.  Weekend and 3-Day passes may also be purchased in person at Graveface Records, 5 W. 40th St., Savannah (limited supply so you might want to call ahead).
