Charly Bliss NPR Spotlight
NPR’s All Things Considered premiered the lead single “Glitter” of Charly Bliss’ debut album. While its sound fits the upbeat vibe of the band’s bubble-grunge aesthetic, this shimmery pop punk anthem isn’t as playful as it seems. It just goes to show that your problems are still in fact problematic, no matter how you doll them up.

Communist Daughter New Music Video Premiered on Substream
There are times when life can seem so dark that all you have to hold on to is the mere idea that light exists somewhere. In these moments all you can do is cling to something-- a sound, a word, anything-- in order to keep yourself going. In their newest music video, Communist Daughter depicts this glimmer of hope that can be found during these shades of depression… if we only dare to keep moving.
The Britanys Release New EP
This week, the Britanys released Five A Side, an EP embodying garage music at its best… Seriously, something about listening to it on loud speakers in a closed space really makes the beat drop in “Fast Talker” ripple through your chest.
The record, produced by Jonathan Schenke (Parquet Courts, Honduras, The Men), is “a portrait of a band most definitely on the up”. Read more from NME at http://www.nme.com/blogs/nme-radar/stream-britanys-killer-new-ep-five-side-full-1966414
