How many bands can you see?
Tim Darcy Debut LP Saturday Night out
Today, Tim Darcy released his first solo album Saturday Night and has carved his own space where American indie rock, slow ballads, and the human psyche meet (a place we weren’t even sure existed until now) . It’s safe to say the lead singer of Montreal post-punk band, Ought, pushes boundaries throughout the project. Playing with experimental instrumentation and introspective content from track to track, Darcy leaves listeners on the edge of their seats.
Kishi Bashi Music Video Premieres on All Songs Considered
When did we all become so detached, so consumed in the smallest details of our own lives that moments of genuine human interaction have become lost on us? Passing by a bickering couple… walking through a door being held open for you… sharing a ride with a stranger?
In the visuals for his song, Can’t Let Go, Juno, Kishi Bashi tackles this numbness many of us find ourselves experiencing from time to time. Each day, we are presented with a choice--- to stop and acknowledge the profound moments of intimacy we encounter or just keep going through the motions.
The video was released on NPR's First Watch.
Stream Vagabon’s Debut Album Infinite Worlds on NPR
There is no other way to describe rising indie rock artist, Laetitia Tamko than entirely present.
Donning the name Vagabon, Tamko creates music that is deep both lyrically and sonically… immediately grabbing hold of you with strings, drumlines, and synths and slowly putting you at ease with her sweet yet raw vocals. Her debut LP Infinite Worlds is no different. Introspective and relatable, its ability to make intensity feel welcoming is astonishing and will leave you full after each listen.

Hoops Announces Debut Album
This week Hoops took intense guitar licks with complex drum riffs, wrapped it up in lo-fi cassette vibes, and dropped it on our soundcloud feeds. But that’s not the only gift we received. The dreamy Indiana band announced that Rules is the first single of their debut LP Routines, which will drop May 5th, in the midst of their North American and UK tour.
Stream their fresh new track "Rules" and find out more details about the forthcoming album and tour dates (including Saturday’s Stopover lineup!) below:
Stopover & Graveface Team Up To Support Community Radio Station
We’ve partnered up with one of our favorite local vinyl spots, Graveface Records & Curiosities, to curate a crate filled with some of the LPs we're listening to in the office in preparation for Stopover. Each crate sale will benefit the new community non-profit radio WRUU - Savannah Soundings!
We also have 3-day and 2-day Stopover passes for purchase at the Graveface shop! Ten percent of ticket sales also go to support WRUU. Go vinyl digging at our awesome bubble pink crate!
Band Poster Submissions are Pouring In!
Don't forget to submit your posters for this year’s Band Poster Competition! We’ve gotten some amazing submissions so far and can't wait to share them. Deadline for submissions is Feb. 27th.
Brought to you in part by Mailchimp & Sulfur Studios.
Wolkoff + Atropolis Collab on The Line Of Best Fit
Stopover alumna, Wolkoff teamed up with NY electronic artist, Atropolis, to create the ultimate anti-Valentine’s Day record. An amalgamation of shattered glass, heavy synths, chilling vocals, and a not-so-steady dancehall beat, “He’s A Lizard” is certainly not your ordinary club bop… But our heads are bopping hard nonetheless as we're typing this week’s digest!
Give it a listen and get ready for all the vibes coming your way during Wolkoff’s set opening night!
Tall Tall Trees New Album Freedays is out
Experience the banjo completely reimagined in Freedays, the newest project by Tall Tall Trees. Mike Savino, delivers a breadth of sounds outside the traditional folk view of banjo music. Every strum, swell, and percussive beat takes you on a journey, and if we’re being honest the ride is simply amazing.

Cascine Records has released 3 singles from Nandi Rose Plunkett's project, Half Waif: "Severed Logic", "Frost Burn" and 'Night Heat'. Listen to all three chilling singles before form/a drops next week.
