Join us for the Opening Night Event of Savannah Stopover at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum. We'll kick off the 2018 festivities with an all Georgia lineup featuring music from Larkin Poe (Atlanta, GA), Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics (Atlanta, GA) and Savannah's own Payne Bridges on the Do Savannah stage at this all-ages event!

In addition to the music, locals Beauregard's Chariot: A BowTie Barbecue Foodtruck and the Dark Shark - Taco Attack Food Truck will be on hand serving up tasty eats, and our dear friends at Lagunitas Brewing Co  will be pouring beer all 3-days, along with Deep Eddy Vodka and Jack Daniel's

Admission to the event is included in the 3-Day pass, or a Thursday Day Pass. All are available via Ticketfly.

"Stopover in the Yard" @ The Grey

Stopover in the Yard is a collaboration between Savannah Stopover and The Grey to combine food, music and charity fundraising. The Yard at The Grey is an expansive, family-friendly outdoor area where chef Mashama Bailey serves enticing Southern fare including grilled meats, seafood and vegetable dishes. Becca Mancari will accompany your delicious lunch with a special performance.

Food service will run from 12:45 pm-3 pm with music starting at 1 pm.

Admittance:

- Stopover Wristband*: $5 donation for music only (does not include food & drink) Or $15 for lunch and first beverage.

- General Public: $25 For music, lunch and first beverage.

*Must have a 3 Day, Weekend,, VIP or Saturday wristband. Saturday Festival wristbands will be available for purchase at the door.

Record Label Showcases

Savannah Stopover and New West Records have teamed up to celebrate the label's 20th anniversary with an amazing evening of music at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum on Friday, March 9th. Headlined by Nikki Lane, the showcase will also include sets from Caroline RoseLilly Hiatt and Cicada Rhythm.

The showcase is open to Savannah Stopover attendees with a Friday Day Pass, Weekend Pass, 3-Day Pass or VIP pass and is all-ages. Access to all Savannah Stopover shows is on a first come first-served basis based on venue capacity. The event is rain or shine. 

El-Rocko Lounge will host the second of three label showcases at the 2018 Savannah Stopover Music Festival on Saturday, March 10th. Come by for an afternoon filled with music from bands on the the Athens-based Normaltown Records label. The line-up includes White Violet, former Sugar-member David Barbe's new project (with members of New Madrid), DEGAWild Moccasins and The Nude Party.

The showcase is open to Savannah Stopover attendees 21+ with a Saturday Day Pass, Weekend Pass, 3-Day Pass or VIP pass. Access to all Savannah Stopover shows is on a first come first-served basis based on venue capacity.

The upstart Brooklyn based label Sleep Well Records will spotlight 3 bands at El-Rocko Lounge on Saturday, March 10th, including Charles Fauna, Cape Francis and returning favorite pronoun

Closing Night Event with of Montreal

Athens’ glam rockers of Montreal return to Savannah for the all-ages party of the year at at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum on Saturday, March 10th. Up-and-comers Gus Dapperton and TWEN will open the night. Costumes encouraged!

The showcase is open to Savannah Stopover attendees with a Saturday Day Pass, Weekend Pass, 3-Day Pass or VIP pass and is all-ages. Access to all Savannah Stopover shows is on a first come first-served basis based on venue capacity. The event is rain or shine.

We'll be sprinkling in some Secret Shows throughout the festival.

Make sure you follow us on Twitter (@SavStopover) to get push alerts as the Secret Show artists are unveiled an hour prior to show.

Kick off Stopover week on the right foot...

Stopover festival week will kickoff on Wednesday, March 7th with “The Night Before Stopover” in conjunction with Graveface Records ( 5 West 40th St) and Green Truck Pub (2430 Habersham St) that will include a Lagunitas Pint Night at Green Truck (a fundraiser where $1 per pint of Lagunitas sold goes to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) and  a four band lineup at Graveface Records from 5pm-10pm.
