Peter and Blake of Twisty Cats spawned from the underbelly of the East Village in New York writing songs and recording to Garage Band back in 2008-2009, usually in the dark hours of the night. The project never made it out of the apartment, and the songs died.

It wasn't until 2015 that they dug the material out, dusted it off and added some new works they had written since moving to Savannah in 2011. A resurgence of inspiration and personal growth allowed TC to come to life. Carefully choosing local appearances, opening up for Tav Falco and the Panther Burns in Atlanta, and headlining a night at the new East Village underground haunt, Berlin, 2015 was about honing in on their live repertoire.

You could say they were something like Electro-gothabilly-Psych-Punk-Pop, with certainly no lack of attitude or sneer.

TC are currently in the studio working on their first EP for a set release in the Spring of 2016.
