Lineup/Schedule Changes for Congress St. Social Club and B&D on Thursday 3/7!!

Due to some unforeseeable logistic issue we are switching two of the lineups for tomorrow night, March 7th. Congress Street Social Club and B&D Burgers will just swap lineups. Also, Leagues had to shift some tour dates around and will not be able to make it to Savannah, we'll catch them next time. Local's Bottles n' Cans will be filling in. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone!

Savannah Stopover In-Studio Sessions @ Dollhouse Studio

  If you bought a VIP pass we have an announcement that will get you up out of your chair! This year Savannah Stopover Music Festival is hosting live in-studio sessions at Savannah’s new music studio, Dollhouse Productions, where you will be able to witness several Stopover bands record some of their tracks in a live, intimate setting. You will be able to enjoy Midnight Moonshine Bloody Mary's and cold SweetWater beer wh ile sitting in on live recordings for a one in a lifetime experience; trust us, you won't want to miss this! If you're debating to buy or upgrade to a VIP pass this is just another reason why you should.

Door Ticket Prices

We encourage people who are not ready to commit to a full pass that they check out some Stopover shows by getting a ticket at the door. We're positive that you'll get show-hungry and want to buy at least a day pass. Door tickets will be available at the venue when the show has started, not a moment before. These tickets will get you into that specific show SPACE PERMITTING. Priority is always given to festival pass holders. Don't forget day passes are only $30! Where you'll be able to see 24 bands on Thursday, 37 Bands on Friday and 41 bands on Saturday.

For all of you who have been wondering the price of tickets for shows at the door:

• Early shows (before 8pm): $5 - $10
• Night Shows (after 8:00pm): $10 - $15
• Opening Night Event: $20
• Jonathan Toubin's Soul Clap & Dance Off: $8
• B & D Burgers Outside Patio: $10

Savannah Stopover Announces Bike Valet for the Concert in Forsyth Park on Friday, March 8!

Savannah Stopover Partners with Savannah Bicycle Campaign for Bike Valet at the of Montreal Concert in Forsyth Park on Friday, March 8.

Savannah Stopover Music Festival is excited to provide a Bike Valet for the of Montreal Concert in Forsyth Park! Savannah Bicycle Campaign will happily take your bikes and safely secure them while you enjoy the festivities in the park on Friday night, March 8, 2013.  Though the service is offered at no charge, donations are greatly appreciated!

The Savannah Bicycle Campaign is a nonprofit membership organization working to build a better Savannah through bicycling — Bicycles Make Savannah Better!

How it works:  Bike safely to Forsyth Park Friday evening, March 8, for Savannah Stopover’s Free Concert in the Park.  Be sure to use at least a front white light on your bike.  Once in Forsyth Park, find the Bike Valet area near the Forsyth Fort parking lot.  They will take your bike, secure it safely in the Bike Valet area, and will give you a ticket to get your bike back after the music ends.

The Bike Valet is a service provided courtesy of the Savannah Bicycle Campaign, however your donations  will support efforts to make Savannah a better place to bike!  Savannah Stopover hopes y'all take advantage of this great opportunity!

Savannah Stopover Confirms Details for March 8th of Montreal

Prince Rama Cancels Tour

Savannah Stopover alum, Prince Rama, has had to cancel their March tour including SXSW. Cancelling 10 shows, three of those being in Austin for SXSW. They've been with Stopover since year one and they will be greatly missed in 2013.They recently posted on various social media outlets:

But fear not, we are maintaining our awesome all-girl band-lineup at Hangfire,Thursday, March 7th with the addition of Savannah's own Lovely Locks! So don your best girl band garb, because the revised lineup is gonna be a ball:

Savannah Stopover Announces 2013 Band Poster Exhibition Finalist Prizes!

Savannah Stopover Music Festival is proud to announce the prizes for the top entries for the third annual Band Poster Exhibition.  Savannah Stopover has teamed up with Creative Approach, Utrect Art Supplies, Atwell's Art and Frame and Foxy Loxy to give our top entries some excellent prize packages!  Chosen finalist from all submissions will be exhibited at the Band Poster Exhibition and Opening Night Concert at the Ships of The Sea Museum on Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 6pm - 9pm.  Prizes will be awarded to the top entries chosen by the Band Poster Exhibition Jury on Opening Night!  Best of luck to all of our talented artist who are submitting posters for their favorite 2013 Stopover bands!

Lineup and Schedule Changes! Brooklyn's Weyes Blood Added to Schedule!

Recent developments and a few cancellations to announce: Fossil Collective (International Visa issues) and Sean Bones (Touring restrictions) cannot  make it to Savannah Stopover 2013.

But those two changes have opened the door for some exciting news- Weyes Blood, who is en route to SXSW with Alex Bleeker, has been added to the schedule. She will mesmerize you with her haunting folk and powerful yet ethereal voice.
