The Stopover List - November 2022

Our November List of the best in new music is a deep one; whether it's featuring new tunes from stalwarts like Yo La Tengo and Scott McMicken (from Dr Dog) or favorite newbies like Royel Otis, Emily Nenni and Odie Leigh. The whole fun of it is checking out music that's hot off the press and 'new to you' and from around the world! Bands from London (Sault), Melbourne (CIVIC), New York (Papi Shiitake), Dublin ( Aoife Nessa Frances), Nashville (Cailtin Rose), Chicago (Horsegirl) and small towns in between.

We're especially drawn to this month's trove of singles from Savannah Stopover alum, including Kate Bollinger teaming up with Drugdealer, Lucy Dacus covering Carole King, the latest EP from Bendigo Fletcher and the new track from The Bones of J.R. Jones (which is burning up TV's all over the world as the track for this year's Amazon Holiday Campaign). Lastly, it's been years since we've had an album from longtime Stopover fave Caitlin Rose; maybe 9 or 10 years? Man, was it worth the wait!

Enjoy y'all and let us know what's catching your ear!
